Canadian Cancer Survivor Network
The Canadian Cancer Survivor Network is a non-profit that supports cancer patients, survivors, caregivers, and families across Canada through advocacy, education, and community programs. Their website needed a major overhaul. The design was outdated, and hundreds of pages required reorganization into a clear, user-friendly structure.
I began with art direction, developing a refreshed colour palette that built on their existing brand while introducing new bright shades. Paired with rounded typography and generous white space, the new look feels bright, approachable, and trustworthy.
With a limited budget, we focused on high-impact changes. We updated global elements such as colour, typography, buttons, and link styling for a cohesive experience. The home page and navigation were fully redesigned with streamlined layouts, new content, and clear, inviting copy. From there, we used analytics and focus groups with the team to determine which other pages and post types on the site were most important and deserving of a redesign.
The result is a site that feels current, cohesive, and accessible – an online presence that better reflects CCSN’s credibility and compassion while making it easier for users to find the support they need.
