Swedish Door
Over several years and multiple project phases, I have served as the lead UX designer on the transformation of the Swedish Door website, working closely with strategists and developers to create a cohesive, polished experience that resonates with their target audience of homeowners and interior designers.
The redesign has included many exciting phases, such as implementing refreshed art direction, migrating from Shopify to WooCommerce, launching a full online catalogue, and optimizing the buyer’s journey across the site. I have also collaborated on new product launches and applied data-driven design decisions, using analytics to refine layouts, improve navigation, and enhance the user experience.
My responsibilities have included web design, e-commerce strategy, and writing copy for most pages of the site. Notable improvements include the introduction of a mega menu displaying all subcategories for easier navigation, redesigned product blocks with a quick-shop pop-up, and guest checkout and social sign-in options to reduce friction for potential customers.
Over time, the look, functionality, and usability of the Swedish Door site have been elevated significantly. We continue to collaborate on ongoing updates and optimizations to support Swedish Door in achieving both short- and long-term goals.
